She ran a very good race in her penultimate start when finishing second over the minimum trip at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. The daughter of Noble Tune shows a lot of speed in her races and she may be hard to peg back in the run down to the wire.

RED ROCK CANYON is the best bet on today’s card. He has produced two decent efforts in KZN since the return of racing. He set the pace in both those outings, but did not quite go on with his effort. The son of Seventh Rock will enjoy the drop to the six furlongs and he gets the blinkers re-fitted. He should be cherry-ripe for this contest and may be the one they all have to get past.

MAKHET is one of the better bets on today’s programme. She got back to winning ways in her last start over this C&D. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Philanthropist does not meet the strongest line-up today and should notch up her third career victory.

DIVINE HUGH has produced two decent efforts since winning his maiden race. He raced from a handy position in his last start over this C&D and stayed on well at the finish. He returns from an 18-week break today and takes a drop-in class. Anton Marcus does duty from a good draw and he may be the one to side with here.
