BORN TO PERFORM lost three lengths at the start of his last outing over seven furlongs and was also not striding out, so he did well to finish as close to the winner as he did. He is re-united with Warren Kennedy who was on board when he rattled off a hat-trick of wins over seven and eight furlongs. The 1500M should be right up his alley.
