Winning Form Best Bets
Race 1: THUMBS UP (6)
Race 2: TAMBORA (1)
Race 3: BOLD DIVA (2)
Race 7: CELTIC SEA (1)

Race 1: DAD’S CATCH (1)

Jockey: B Fayd’Herbe – Trainer: G Puller

DAD’S CATCH is the only runner on the day from the Glen Puller yard. She was slow into stride on debut over 900M, but finished well to win in the shadow of the post. She is likely to enjoy the extra ground and it is encouraging that Bernard Fayd’Herbe has kept faith in the ride. She attracted betting support that day which would suggest that the win did not come as a surprise to the connections.

Race 2: THE CAMBO (3)
Jockey: M Byleveld – Trainer: V Marshall

THE CAMBO set the pace in his last start over a mile and was only collared late. He should enjoy going back over seven furlongs. He has a wide draw to overcome, but could use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

Race 3: BOLD DIVA (2)
Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: H/R Crawford

BOLD DIVA messed up the start in her last outing but was running on well to just be denied victory over this c&d and will be looking to go one better here. She is the only runner on the day from the Crawford/Rix yard and will again be partnered by Gavin Lerena, which is a big plus.

Race 7: CELTIC SEA (1)

Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: S Tarry

CELTIC SEA is the only runner on the day from the powerful Sean Tarry yard. She has her peak run here and is yet to finish out of the top two positions in four starts over this distance. With Gavin Lerena retaining the ride, she looks to be the one that they all have to beat.

Race 4: FLEECED (8)
Jockey: S Khumalo – Trainer: J Snaith

FLEECED is one of five runners in this race from the Justin Snaith yard. She goes for her hat-trick here and the manner in which she has dispatched the opposition in her last two wins over the c&d, this is very much on the cards.
