VIPER JET challenged strongly when just failing by a neck to overhaul the winner of his last outing over six furlongs and should enjoy the extra distance of today’s race. He was making steady progress in his penultimate race over seven furlongs. He does have the widest draw of them all, but he should be doing his best work late.

SULTANAH showed the expected improvement second time out where she was running on well over this trip. She attracted outside betting support that day which would suggest that she had being showing good work at home. She jumps from a handy draw and she should be right up there when they hit the line.

Jockey: De Gouveia – Trainer: S Pettigrew
SEATTLE FORCE loves this c&d having won both of his starts here. He looked a likely winner of his last outing over ten furlongs before being collared in the shadow of the post. He likes to set the pace in his races and may prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages.

GOLD ROCK is lightly raced having had just the three runs to date. He managed to stick his head in front at just the right time to win his last start over seven furlongs and should have no issues with going the slightly longer trip today. He takes on stronger here, but from his good draw, he may well be up to the task at hand.

Jockey: N Juglall – Trainer: C Dawson
ESKIMO KISSES and MADEMOISELLE renew their rivalry this afternoon. The latter did finish 0.75L ahead of the former is their last outing over this distance, but is 1kg worse off at today’s weights. There should not be much separating them again today, but the former gets the nod based on the current form of her stable. The latter does, however, have her peak run here.
