RACE 1

BEAR WITNESS from the Stephen Gray stable set the pace to finish 2nd on 27 of December 2020 over 1200m. The son of Star Witness is back over his favourite trip (1400m) and will be involved in the finish. The 5 year-old chestnut gelding KING ZOUSTAR is showing good recent form and can once again run a nice race here. The ultra-consistent AWESOME CONQUEROR from the O’Hara yard is seldom far off and with a decent draw this time out, the son of Bullbars must have a say here.

RACE 2

JUST STARS next win looks on the horizon. He ran a cracker over 1000m earlier this month. The chestnut gelding will strip fitter. He goes over the extra 100m and warrants respect. SUPER PINS from the Meagher yard returns from a 2month break. Interesting to note his best recent effort came under Ruan Maia and must be included here. YES ONE BALL showed form return last time over 1200m. The 3 year-old bay gelding had an eye-catching barrier trial and is in with a chance here.

RACE 3

WHISTLE GRAND from the Khoo yard has impressive form. The son of Coasts Choice has two recent wins to his name and is reunited with Marc Lerner. MERYL is returning after a lengthy break.  The 4-year old mare last run came in a Group 1, but race was not run to suit her. She can go well fresh, but is drawn wide. WILD BEE from the Young stable is a useful sort. The son of Niagara is often thereabouts and must be in with a chance.

RACE 4

GOLD KINGDOM from the Clifford Brown yard is holding his form well. The return to the polytrack is a plus and he should be fighting out the finish here. HIGH LIMIT has been runner-up his last two starts most recently being earlier this month. He will strip fitter here and is in with a chance. The 6-year old mare BLITZ POWER had a fair comeback run. The daughter of Iffraaj will strip fitter and the race tempo can suit this mare.

RACE 5

SUN COUNCIL from Desmond Koh stable has been racing well. The 4-year old chestnut gelding is drawn well today and should shed his maiden tag. VALENCIA returns from a lengthy spell. The Stephen Gray trained son of Sweet Orange loves this distance and must have a say if fit. STRONG N BEST from the Kuah yard is lightly raced. The 4-year old bay gelding returns from a break and drops in trip. If fit and well he should run into the money.

RACE 6

SPECIAL OPS from the Ong yard has had two impressive wins in a row. The son of Reset takes on stronger here but the manner in which he won his last start , he can pull of the hat-trick. The consistent SHEPHERD’S HYMN is in good form and will prefer today’s trip. The 4-year old bay gelding will be freshened up and is in with a chance. HARD TOO THINK was too far back last time but ran on nicely. The son of All Too Hard tries the extra furlong and could be running on late here.

RACE 7

BALOR from the Lim stable had a good comeback run over 1200m. He tries the extra furlong and will strip fitter today. He is a must for all bets. OUR SHOWCASE  is a two time course and distance winner. The 6-year old bay gelding continues to drop in ratings. This is not an easy race to work out and this fellow could be the answer. The Desmond Koh trained runner SMILING PROUND won well over 1600m. He drops in trip and must be included here.

RACE 8

RIVER ROCA has two impressive wins in a row over this course and distance. He does take on stronger here but goes for the hat-trick and gets along well with jockey Iskandar . SACRED GIFT drops in class. Interesting to note the 5-year old bay gelding didn’t act in the going last time and must have a say here. RADIANT SUCCESS is a useful sprinter and a three-time winner (1100m to 1200m). He had a decent barrier trial and must be respected here.

RACE9

SURPASS NATURAL found extra to win his last start over this distance. He is more of a polytrack specialist but does boast one win on turf and must have a say here. NOWYOUSEE from the Tan yard had a good comeback run earlier this month. He will strip fitter and can feature. LIM’S CRAFT came from last to run third last Saturday over 1400m. He won’t be out of his depth even if he is up against tougher.

RACE 10

IMPERIUM from the Michael Clements yard won impressively last time out over this distance. He shoulders three kilos more but that should not stop him. FROM THE NAVY is seldom far off and with a light mass of 51kgs on his back the son of Hinchinbrook should be doing his best work late. LUCKY IMPERATOR from the Lee Freedman stable didn’t enjoy the soft goings last time. You can put a line through that start. If the track stays firm, and he can come across from a wide draw without doing too much, he will be in with a chance.
