Race 1
The Chris Waller stable looks to have a strong hand here and they may be able to complete the exacta. SPOKESMAN won at the second time of asking over six furlongs and looks capable of following up here. ACHIEVER has only had the one outing where he finished second over six furlongs. He would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he should be involved in the finish. MAJOR MURPHY won on debut over six furlongs in soft going and he looks likely to enjoy the extra trip. He may be able to spoil the Chris Waller party. GLACIERS is a filly taking on the boys, but she won over five furlongs on debut at a lesser center and may be up to the challenge here. 

Race 2
The 3yr old fillies look like they will dominate the finish of this contest by filling all four quartet positions. DUENNA finished fourth last time out over 1100M when returning from a 19-week break. She had won both her barrier trials in heavy going before that outing. PIZZLY is a speedy sort who has not finished far behind the winner recently and should be right up there in the dash down to the line. ARCHANNA makes her debut, but she has had three encouraging barrier trials. Any betting support for her should be respected. STOLEN JADE finished second over 1100M last time out when running on and she should enjoy the extra ground that is on offer today.

Race 3
CYBER INTERVENTION takes a step up in distance, but he has consistent formlines to his credit and if coping with the extra trip, he should put in another solid performance today. MONSIEUR SISU never quite went on with his effort last time out over twelve furlongs and should enjoy the drop in distance. LOVES TO ROCK is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she likes to race up with the pace in her races and did finish fourth in her last start over 1900M in soft going. WHITE BOOTS was a little disappointing last time out over 1700M, but if repeating his penultimate effort over 1900M, he should be respected in this line-up.

Race 4
HERZEGOVINA stayed on well in the closing stages of his last outing over six furlongs, suggesting that the rise in distance will be to his liking. MOCAMBO jumps from a handy draw and if he is able to repeat his effort over the mile three runs back, he should be a serious threat to the former. FAST TRAIN has cracked pole position and showed marked improvement last time out over seven furlongs. If he has continued along that same path, he should be right up there in the mix. ALL TIME LEGEND takes a step up in trip but did win his barrier trial after finishing fourth over 1500M before that. He should be considered for all bets.

Race 5
A tricky F&M Handicap faces punters here and some caution is advised. TATIARA finished a close up second in her last start over this distance in soft going and from her mid-field draw, she should be a big runner here. DAZZLING DAMSEL drops in class and if repeating her penultimate effort when winning over 1100M, she should pose a big threat to the top selection. MILITARY MAGIC completed her hat-trick before a 19-week rest. She has had two barrier trial to prove her fitness and should be taken seriously here. FRITZ’S FACTOR stayed on nicely last time out over this trip and must be considered in this field.

Race 6
PINVINCIBLE has consistent form to his name and narrowly missed out on his hat-trick last time out when second over this distance. He will be hoping to get back to winning ways today. CHAT’S last two efforts over this distance have been encouraging and he looks to be the immediate danger to the former. ESTEEM SPIRIT has the widest draw of them all, but he has the early gate speed to be able to get across without using up too much energy and could cause the upset here. SO TAKEN is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys. She was a tad disappointing last time out over six furlongs, but a repeat of her effort prior to that would ensure that the males know that they have been in a race. 

Race 7
AMITTO has solid formlines to her name and ran on strongly to win her last outing over this trip. The trainer/jockey combination catches the eye and they look to be the ones to beat. SELES has finished third in her last three runs, the latest of which was over this distance. She should be respected despite having a wide draw to contend with. EARTH SONG won last time out over 1300M in soft going when returning from a 15-week rest. She should be included in all bets. ROMANTIC WHISPER set the pace and then held off all challengers to win her last start over 1500M in soft going. She may prove difficult to reel in over the latter stages.

Race 8
PEYTON PLACE has his hat-trick attempt here today after winning his last two starts over this distance and the manner in which he has displaced the opposition in those victories makes this very much on the cards. He jumps from a handy draw to aid his cause. He won’t, however, have things all his own way and should expect to be hard-pressed by a few, including BEACH BABY who has already completed his trio of wins. He will also get 1.5kgs removed from his allocated weight courtesy of his claiming apprentice. ZAKAT is another looking for his hat-trick after winning his last two starts over six furlongs. Unfortunately, barring a dead-heat, two of the above three runners are going to be disappointed today. EPIC DAN has solid form to his name, but his wide draw is a bit of a concern.
