Race 4

MISS KOJIKI raced
three wide before finishing fourth last time out over five furlongs, just under
six lengths off the winner. She has cracked pole position and has her peak run
here after returning from a 23 week break. TWO GEMS returns
from an 18 week rest, but has finished third in both of her barrier trial to
showcase her fitness. She finished fourth in her last outing before the break
and from gate five, she could threaten the top choice. NOUVELLE makes
his debut after six barrier trials, finishing third in the latest. Any betting
support for her should be respected.

Race 5

SHE’S INDEPENDENT missed
out on her hat-trick when eighth last time out over six furlongs, nearly six
lengths back from the winner, but she did jump awkwardly that day and was then
denied a clear passage in the home straight, so she can perhaps be forgiven
that outing. She has drawn gate six and is taken to be the best bet on the
day’s program. SHE’S SMART has her first run since a 38 week absence,
but has had the benefit of two barrier trials to prove her fitness. She was
carried wide in her last start when over seven lengths behind the winner, but
the form of that race has been franked. She is drawn one inside the top pick
and should not be overlooked. Although BEDAZZLE is recorded as
finishing seventh in her last start over six furlongs, she was just over two
and a half lengths behind the winner. She has pulled pole position and should
be involved in the finish.

Race 6

THISWILLDOUSdid not get the clearest of passages
in the home straight before ending up in third place last time out over six
furlongs, just under three lengths back from the victor. He was returning from
a 15 week rest that day and from gate three, he could be the one to side with
here.
ELUSIVE EAGLE had
his consistency rewarded with an almost one length victory last time out over
six furlongs. He faces a wide draw eleven, but will likely be dropped out of it
early and then start mowing down the frontrunners over the latter stages of the
contest. DEEP DREAM tried to go from jump to wire before
finishing second last time out over 1312M, just a neck behind the winner. The
gelding is sure to put his draw two to good use.

Race 7

CAPANNELLOmade good late progress to finish third in his last outing over five furlongs,
just 0.7L off the winner. He has pulled pole position and is seen as the value
bet on the card. BANGALLEY chased down the
leaders to win in the shadow of the post last time out over 1110M. Whilst he
was just a head winner that day, he gets to jump from gate two and may prove
good enough to complete his double.
TIKKITALA won
from the front when recording his third career win last time out over five
furlongs by some two and a half lengths. He will have to overcome gate eight,
but he should use that early gate speed to move across without expending too
much energy.
