He has drawn very wide at gate fourteen, but he should have come on from that run under her belt and will be doing his best work late.

HEARTS LIFTED is a 6yr old mare taking on males. She has finished second in her last two runs, the latest when just beaten a short-head over six furlongs. She took an awkward stride at the 600M mark that day and might have won the race but for that incident. She has drawn gate five and could be the one to side with here. TRENGGANU followed up his penultimate run victory over six furlongs with a second-place finish next time out over 1100M, just over a length off the winner. He jumped awkwardly in that contest, but if getting away as he should today, he could threaten the top pick. LYRICAL PRINCE is seldom too far off the action was victorious last time out over six furlongs when finishing strongly, suggesting that the extra ground on offer here will be to his liking. He will have 3kgs taken off his back thanks to his claiming apprentice to aid his cause.

This looks to be a tricky F&M Handicap and some caution is advised. DOLLY SPARTAN has shown steady improvement in her last three runs and finished strongly to be denied victory by a short-head last time out over six furlongs. She is drawn wideish at gate nine but is likely to be picking off the frontrunners in the dash down to the line. HEARTS LIFTED had her consistency rewarded with a narrow win last time out over 1100M. She stayed on well that day and should have no issue with the step up in distance. OUR SWAN LAKE is a speedy sort who put 2.3L between herself and the opposition when winning her last outing over 1100M. She is sure to put her draw two to good use and should be involved in the finish today. UNGUARDED also won her last start over 1100M, in this case, by just a neck. She did not get the clearest of passages that day which makes the victory that much more encouraging. From draw four, she should be included in all bets.

WILLO TITTO is a 5yr old mare taking on boys, but she has her hat-trick attempt today after posting a win over this distance last time out. She hit the front at the 200M mark and then kept going well to hold off all challengers. She jumps from draw two and is taken to be the value bet on the day’s card. LOUIE LA’JOY recorded a two and a half-length victory last time out over this distance after stepping up from a mile in his two runs prior to that, despite coming wide into the straight. He is drawn in gate seven and could represent the biggest threat to the former. MISSED THE ALARM is a 5yr old mare who has improved in her last two outings, the latest when finishing second over this distance, just a short-head back from the winner. She was hampered at the 250M mark in that contest and is drawn one inside the former. She should not be lightly dismissed in this line-up.
