QUEEN NIYABAH ran a good race over this C&D last time. She should have finished closer to the winner that day as she hung in the latter stages. It must be noted that Ohwhatanight has come out and won since, plus the horse that finished second that day has come out and won. The daughter of Kingsbarns should strip much fitter today and if the blinkers have the desired effect, she should take a power of beating.

GRAND ESCAPE ran a creditable race when finishing fourth over this C&D, two weeks ago. He raced from a handy position that day, but was outrun in the latter stages. The son of Global View does have a wide draw to overcome, but he gets the services of Anton Marcus who will give him the necessary assistance from the saddle.
Race 5: ADIOS AMIGOS (2)

ADIOS AMIGOS is one of the better bets on today’s card. He won a good race over this C&D, six weeks ago. The manner in which he ran on at the business end caught the eye. The son of Elusive Fort meets a similar type of field today and can notch up his third career victory.
Race 6: CAPTAIN FLINDERS (3)
Jockey: Marcus A – Trainer: Sands A
CAPTAIN FLINDERS finished 0.75 lengths behind FIREALLEY last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won once and finished third once from three starts over this C&D. Anton Marcus takes the ride and he may get the best out of the son of Captain Al where it matters most.

DOUBLE AGENT showed very good improvement in his last start over 1400m on this course. He jumped inwards at the start that day and stayed on well at the finish. The son of Twice Over should love the rise to the 2000m and with a bit of luck in running, can shed his maiden tag.
