AMANZIMTOTI produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1000m at Durbanville. She lost a length at the start and finished her race off strongly. The daughter of Trippi would have gained from the experience and should enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

KISSING POINT was ultra-impressive when winning her last start over 1100m on this course. She showed good speed and was geared down in the latter stages. The daughter of Global View faces her toughest test to date, but she looks to have class about her and can notch up the hat-trick.

TRIP OF FORTUNE was an impressive winner of his last start over 1000m on this course. He lost a length at the start, but showed good pace and drew away from the opposition. The well-bred son of Trippi does meet much stronger today, but he looks to have plenty of class about him and should follow up with another victory.

Jockey: Winnaar M – Trainer: Kotzen G
TALLAHASSEE is much better than her last start in the Listed Sweet Chestnut Stakes. She raced wide around the turn that day and understandably weakened in the straight. The daughter of Soft Falling Rain drops back in class and on best form shown, she can return to winning ways.
