TOP BET
Race 1: RINGS AND THINGS(7)
Jockey: Aldo DOMEYER – Trainer: Candice BASS-ROBINSON

The intriguing entrant has to be the other raced runner, RINGS AND THINGS from the Bass Robinson yard. This daughter of Querari also produced a decent debut when quietly fancied in the betting market. She finished 4th that day but rather interestingly, was only 0.40 lengths behind subsequent winner Call To Account who thrashed the former on 28/01. The bay filly should make natural improvement.

Race 3: DANCE AT DAWN(3)
Jockey: Donovan DILLON – Trainer: Joey RAMSDEN

DANCE AT DAWN is the form choice in this ordinary maiden event and she could be rewarded for her string of c & d seconds in recent months.

Race 5: ONE DIRECTION(6)
Jockey: Greg CHEYNE – Trainer: Justin SNAITH

The three-year-old ONE DIRECTION hasn’t realised his true potential but he has improved his formline recently and is bred to love every bit of today’s distance. He still has heaps of improvement to come over ground and should be highly competitive in today’s handicap. That said, there are numerous hard knocking older campaigners who will certainly test his resolve.

Race 7: TRIP TO INDIA(1)
Jockey: Richard FOURIE – Trainer: Glen KOTZEN

TRIP TO INDIA is seldom far adrift and she ran on well for 4th despite some issues over this c & d at a similar level, three weeks ago. She has certainly reached a competitive mark and could go very close if not encountering any traffic issues along the way.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:

Race 6: CARDINAL CALL(3)

Jockey: Aldo DOMEYER – Trainer: Darryl HODGSON

CARDINAL CALL held his form in stronger company when he ran on strongly for 3rd over the c & d early last month and the 4th placed finisher Fire Horse boosted that formline, albeit when winning in PE subsequently. The Jay Peg gelding may have escaped without further punishment and he can stake a serious claim today.
