Richard Fourie retains the ride on the son of Windrush who could adopt different tactics with the headgear.

ELUSIVE STARS bounced right back to form with a cracking sprint over six furlongs recently and she will be cherry-ripe today. She picked up a pound penalty but her only career victory came over this c & d and she has now cracked the best draw. CAPRICE DES DIEUX is a game frontrunner who quickly got back to some form when she only weakened late over this c & d, two weeks ago. She drops slightly in class and can build on that improvement.

TUMBLES benefitted from the rest and she bounced right back to her best with a cracking last run over this c & d at conditions level. She was returning from a 13 week absence so will strip fitter and she drops heavily in class. Furthermore, the runner-up of that outing, Chevauchee won her subsequent start easily and this daughter of Var has strong claims.

This is a very competitive maiden plate for fillies and a close encounter is expected. She is well drawn and has claims with Fourie back in the saddle.
