R216.

RACE 1 – Time: 06:30 Class 5 Handicap -1400m

Selections: 3/8/4

PASIR PINJI from the Donna Logan yard, a runner in good order for a race like this and can go very close with conditions to suit here. BROADWAY SUCCESS the booking of Vlad Duric is an eye-catching one and has the form in the book to run a nice race here. TAKHI from the J Lim stable should be there or thereabouts on his current form.

RACE 2 – Time: 07:00 Open Maiden- 1100m

Selections: 2/8/10

DR KARDO nearly won on local debut. He could have won if not held up for a run at the 400m mark. He’s drawn well here and should go one better today with Vlad Duric in the saddle. ALEXANDER showed vast improvement with blinkers on and the son of Zacinto must be respected here. GOOD FIGHT ran well on debut. The 3-year old bay gelding could have finished on the podium if the rider didn’t lose his stirrup in the home straight. Top three finish on the cards.

RACE 3 – Time: 07:30 Class 4 Handicap- 1200m

Selections: 3/2/8

BOOMBA is a group winning juvenile who raced fair at class 4 level last start. He has the booking of champion jockey Vlad Duric and can reignite his form. WATER ROCKET ran a nice second behind What You Like last start. He looked a winner everywhere besides the last 50m, with a similar run he can be very competitive here. METAL WORLD placed over 1400m last start but has raced against some very handy horses in the past. The lightweight chance that can surprise.

RACE 4 – Time: 08:00  Maiden -1700m

Selections: 11/3/1

MARCUS ANTONIUS didn’t have a clear run in the home straight on his last start. He made a lot of ground late to run fifth less than three lengths off the winner Lim’s Rhythm. He’s drawn nicely in two, blinkers on. TONY’S LOVE finally showed up when a fast-finishing third over 2000m last time out. Back on the Polytrack which he didn’t handle very well at only try. PINI PONS seems to enjoy Polytrack racing better, not the most reliable sort, but on his forward run last time out, he could run another cheeky race here.

RACE 5 – Time: 08:30 Class 5 Handicap – 1400m

Selections: 4/3/2

ALLEGRO tailed off and let down late after being hard ridden last time out. He has drawn wide again but should be right there. ANPANMAN lightly-raced sort. He doesn’t venture out to seven furlongs too often but did run on for fourth once. In-form Danny Beasley takes the rains. LAI MAK MAK from the Mark Walker stable showed good improvement in the latest. Champion jockey Vlad Duric sticks with the son of O’Reilly and will be in the firing line.

RACE 6 – Time: 09:00 Class 4 Handicap -1600m

Selections: 7/5/1

RELENTLESS is an improving type of horse with a motor when the pace is genuine. He has been unlucky with no speed in previous runs and wasn’t able to sprint with them The mile suits him well. ADIPSON hasn’t won for some time but is a proven winner over 1600m and with good speed on he should finish strongly. GOLDEN FLAME just found Class 3 a bit tough in his last two starts. His a genuine Class 4 performer and has been placed over this distance in the past.

RACE 7 – Time: 09:30 Class 5 Handicap -1600m

Selections: 2/5/3

MILITARY CHAIRMAN a chance can be taken with this Copperbelt trained galloper back on the Polytrack of a handy rating with Danny Beasley booked. BLITZ POWER the run over the course and distance a couple of starts back was good and she can go well here. ZOFFSPEED has been racing well enough for a race of this standing and should be included in all bets.

RACE 8 – Time: 10:00 Class 4 Handicap -1200m

Selections: 2/4/6

AFTERMATH ran a nice third behind exciting youngster Lim’s Kosciuszko beaten 3.3 lengths. He will improve greatly from that experience. KNIGHT LOVE started his Kranji career in stellar style but put a few ordinary runs two out of his last three starts. His last start was much better and ideally suited to this race. SUMMER WIND is a newcomer to Kranji having raced in Australia. He did race in his class and his runs were positive. He’s a strong finisher and will improve more after this start.

RACE 9 – Time: 10:30 Class 5 Handicap -1000m

Selections: 6/8/1

RED CLAW do ignore his last run when he was eased out of the race with the rider losing his irons. His previous run was sound and from barrier no.3, he should get a nice run in transit. UNCLE LUCKY can’t fault him for always trying. The son of Showcasing cracks a good draw today. He just needs a bit of luck to find the line. YES ONE BALL seems to have found his niche. He will probably dictate from his handy barrier. He is a threat if left alone up front.

Race 10 – Time: 11:00 Class 5 Handicap –1600m

Selections: 7/8/1

RED RIDING WOOD this Mark Walker trained runner has a great record when partnered by Vlad Duric with form figures of 161 and this race suits him very well. SUPER ATAS it is worth giving this lightly raced maiden another chance on the Polytrack with a good claimer booked. BEBOP from the  Hideyuki Takaoka yard was an impressive winner last time out who is now up six points.

Race 11 – Time: 11:30 Class 3 Handicap-1600m

Selections: 3/11/2

TIGER ROAR super impressive to date winning four from seven starts. He will settle back and can run on. He’s up in class but he’s the horse they have to beat. KING’S COMMAND liked the way he won on his last start stepping up to 1600m and blinkers on first time. He is a get-back and sprint style runner and if the speed is genuine he can continue on his winning ways. ELITE INCREDIBLE his run behind the top selection was full of merit and he looks to benefit from a second run after a rest and the rise to 1600m. He’s placed in a Singapore Derby and looks to be competitive in this field.

Race 12 – Time: 12:00 Class 4 Handicap-1000m

Selections: 1/2/7

BRIGHT ALMIGHTY from the T. Fitzsimmons yard really does deserve to win another one on the back of some solid performances of late. The one to beat here. TEARDROPS two wins from four starts in Argentina and has plenty of speed (won 1000m in 55.58s). A couple of good trials have her spot on for this. PINDUS from Ricardo Le Grange yard off a good rating at the moment and could be each/way value.
