VALUE BET – FREE FALLIN’
TOP BET – HOLY ELEANOR

PA:

3, 4, 5/2, 4, 7/1, 3, 4/2, 5/1, 3/1/2, 5

R216

RACE 1 – Time: 06:00 Class 5 Handicap -1600m

Selections: 4/5/1

FREE FALLIN’ from the Shane Donald Baertschiger yard was a dominant winner in Class 5 three starts ago. This is his right grade and the mile suits him. AWESOME CONQUEROR both wins in Singapore have come in Class 5. His distance record is good having been placed twice over this trip. DON DE LA VEGA consistent sort who looks well placed here this week. He looked in good order when winning a trial last week.

RACE 2 – Time: 06:30 Maiden- 1200m

Selections: 2/3/7

HOLY ELEANOR first start was full of merit beaten under a length behind Starharmony. She can only improve from that run. Interesting to note champion jockey Vlad Duric jumps aboard the 4-year-old bay filly. DON’T TELL TILLY consistent sort who is still looking for her maiden win. Has been placed behind winners who have gone on to win more races. LADY ROXANNE yet to run a place in five attempts but is in a strong stable and has trialled well in the past.

RACE 3 – Time: 07:00 Class 4 Handicap – 1400m

Selections: 4/2/12

BOOMBA from the T.Fitzsimmons yard probably needed his last start. He Looks sharper on the tracks since and will be hard to beat this time. STREET CRY SUCCESS has strung up two wins in a row in similar style. Goes over the same course and distance and the four-kilo claim is a big bonus. He should be in the mix again. BILLY ELLIOT Impressive debut winner in maiden company. Loomed for back-to-back wins in open company but returned lame. He’s up against even tougher opposition and has drawn off the track. Place claims.

RACE 4 – Time: 07:30  Class 5 Handicap -1100m

Selections: 1/4/8

LORD OF WIND only lightly-raced having won one from five starts. First time in Class 5 and one to watch. LIM’S WISH hasn’t done much since winning his maiden earlier in the year. This isn’t a strong race and looks a danger. SUPREME FIGHTER although he has only placed one from six in Singapore. He gets his chance in this event if his form from last start holds up.

RACE 5 – Time: 08:00 Class 5 Handicap – 1200m

Selections: 1/7/8

ALLEGRO won well last start and retains his Class 5 rating. Sat midfield and finished off strongly to beat Hosayliao last time out. BIG DAY still a maiden in Singapore but did run a nice third behind the handy Admiral Winston followed up by a nice trial recently. EVIL SPEEDO racing first-up this weekend and has raced well fresh before. Can surprise.

RACE 6 – Time: 08:30 Class 4 Handicap -1000m

Selections: 5/4/3

COUSTEAU from the Mark Walker yard ran on for a nice third last time out. The son of Exceed And Excel is often thereabouts and must have a say. MAN OF MYSTERY blinker-pacifiers seem to have sharpened him up. Working well on the training tracks. ABLEST ASCEND taken out in his last start. Knocked up in the straight. Well drawn and with frontrunning expert Mohd Zaki on board, he can go all the way.

RACE 7 – Time: 09:00 Class 5 Handicap -1600m

Selections: 2/4/7

MAXIMILIAN always a threat in this grade. His last few starts have been over a shorter journey but well proven over this trip in the past. DUSSELDORF doesn’t win too often but his runs lately have been enough to give him a chance against this field. CLARTON SUPREME earlier this year strung two wins together in encouraging fashion and better suited to the turf. Honest type in Class 5.

RACE 8 – Time: 09:30 Class 2 Handicap -1400m

Selections: 1/4/3

MR MALEK hard to go past him following his eye-catching third first-up from a layoff. Trip suits. Horse to beat here.  OCEAN CROSSING surprised at his last start with a flying finish over 1100m. Handles turf just as well. Won’t surprise if he pops up again. MURAAHIB ran creditably in his last outing when eased from the Group 1 Lion City Cup into Class 2 company. In rattling form. Visors replaced by blinkers. Command’s respect.

RACE 9 – Time: 10:00 Class 5 Handicap -1200m

Selections: 2/5/9

MIEJ lightly-raced horse from the strong Michael Clements stable. Big drop from Class 4 to Class 5 and could surprise. FLYING YELLOW drops back in distance from his last start win but shouldn’t be a worry as his 1200m form is proven. SESON looks well placed in this event. Hasn’t been beaten far in his recent runs and looking to win one very soon.

Race 10 – Time: 10:30 Class 4 Handicap –1400m

Selections: 1/3/5

MYSTERY POWER thought to be underclass given his impressive credentials in UK but was rolled second-up. Jockey queried. Has drawn in pole position. Will be hard to beat with the four-kilo claim. DAY APPROACH in his element here. Will be in the thick of the action turning for home. Include in all bets. SUN TREK ignore last couple of starts when things didn’t go his way. Drawn better this time, with Mohd Zaki up, don’t rule him out.

Race 11 – Time: 11:00 Class 4 Handicap-1100m

Selections: 1/4/5

CRYSTAL WARRIOR impressive winner in his two barrier trials. Speedy sort who ran third in Group 3 race in Australia. 3YO Sprint is his target. From barrier one, he will be hard to reel in. SKY EYE Polytrack specialist who has maintained form since his last win over 1100m last month. Nice low draw. Shapes up as the main challenger to the selection. MACEO back to the winner’s circle in his last start. If he gets away cheaply in front, he will be a threat again.

Race 12 – Time: 11:30 Class 4 Handicap-1600m

Selections: 2/5/4

KING’S COMMAND has an electric turn of foot. In dashing form and will again take some beating. Go close. RELENTLESS Vlad Duric jumping off King’s Command to take this ride is a good pointer. Leading hope. GODFATHERS disappointing in his last start. Was crowded at the start but it’s not an excuse. He is better than his last start and should be right there.
