Racing this Saturday sees an entertaining twelve race programme at Kranji Racecourse with a host of top-quality racing on offer, the top bet and value bet should be followed closely.

RACE 1 – Time: 06:00 Class 5 Handicap -1600m
Selections: 6/2/3

TERRIFIC gets back to a more suitable distance of a mile where he was last victorious in. This is his class to win and looks set. KING’S SPEECH ran a super race in this grade last start and gets the chance to better that in this grade. MALIBU BEACH although all his best runs have come on turf, he has drawn well to get a nice run and Danny Beasley on is a plus.

RACE 2 – Time: 06:30 Restricted Maiden – 1200m
Selections: 4/1/2

SUPER INCREDIBLE after a modest start to his Singapore racing career, showed significant progress at his sixth start when a closing second to Big Tiger. Back on same course and distance. Should make his presence felt. DABBLE showed greater professionalism with blinkers on last start. Low draw a big factor. Don’t leave him out of the equation. BIG GREEN HAT Dabble’s stablemate. Also made headway in his last start, but contrary to Dabble, after losing the blinkers. Include in calculations.

RACE 3 – Time: 07:00 Class 4 Handicap – 1200m
Selections: 8/11/7

SUPER SMART an interesting runner in this and is looking still well handicapped on the balance of form. Big chance. ROYALTY is racing extremely well without winning and returns to the Polytrack here. Every chance again from barrier No 5. CHARGER the blinkers are going back on here and is another who is ‘well in’ on the best of his form.

RACE 4 – Time: 07:30 Maiden -1400m
Selections: 4/3/2

MIGHTY VAIN is quite a consistent customer despite still being a maiden. Has nine placings from 17 starts to show he is not without qualities. Handles turf better. Blinkers on. Can finish in the money. LIM’S DREAMWALKER decent comeback run after a five-month layoff. Switch back to turf will suit better. Quirky sort who is not the worst here if on his best behaviour. HOLY ELEANOR every chance last couple of starts but faded after showing the way. Each-way claims if on song.

RACE 5 – Time: 08:00 Class 5 Handicap – 1100m
Selections: 7/4/2

WEDNESDAY no world-beater but latest runs had been encouraging. This could be his day. OL MATE BUZZER bounced back to form last time out. More misses than hits, but if he reproduces his last-start form, he can sneak in here. RED CLAW from in-form stable. In contention last 300m but was swamped late. Won’t shock if he shows up in this moderate affair.

RACE 6 – Time: 08:30 Open Maiden – 1000m
Selections: 7/2/9

HIGH WATER showed gate speed at his two barrier trials. From barrier No 1, he will be hard to reel in if he has things his way. TESORO PIRATA after showing little in his early starts, he has not been finishing too far off at recent runs. Drawn well. OUR FINAL OFFER freshened up after two starts where he showed vast improvement second-up. Drop back to 1000m will suit.

RACE 7 – Time: 09:00 Class 5 Handicap -1600m
Selections: 3/12/4

ALLEGRO the combination of Danny Beasley and David Kok has been very lethal this year. Was held up at a crucial stage last start but hit the line nicely. SILVER JOY came from well back in the field last start running quick sectionals to figure in the finish. Can’t be overlooked here. PISCA PISCA Manoel Nunes jumps aboard here, and form reads solid for a top finish in this. Not a strong field so only needs to bring her best.

RACE 8 – Time: 09:30 Class 4 Handicap -1700m
Selections: 2/1/8

CARIBBEAN LADY from the Hideyuka Takaoka stable has shown some good form in similar races and looks well suited here. HERO Improving sort who was back on track last time out. Has won on the surface and should be right there in the finish. FREE FALLIN‘ is better than his last start and now gets a tongue tie on and the drop in trip is a plus.

RACE 9 – Time: 10:00 Class 5 Handicap – 1100m
Selections: 5/1/2

BIZAR WINS although he has a rough barrier to contend with, he should jump away and take forward spot. On his last start, he can finish on top here. LIM’S FORCE has been nearly one year since winning in this grade and must be respected simply by dropping in class. BEN WADE on a quick back-up from last week where he was just edged out in the closing stages. From an in-form stable.

Race 10 – Time: 10:30 Class 5 Handicap-1200m
Selections: 4/2/5

IRONCLAD is drawn to get an easy lead in this field. If you go off his winning form, this looks a good race to repeat. HE SHADOW caught the eye running second to Brutus last start and that form has held in good order for a race like this. KIMITONARA has a favourable draw and looked to be hitting the line strongly last start. Don’t rule out a surprise.

Race 11 – Time: 11:00 Class 4 Handicap -1200m
Selections: 1/3/9

CHEVAL RAPIDE can prove very dangerous in this grade and is racing off his last winning handicap mark. OUR PINNACLE has been in good form of late and it only looks a matter of when not if, he can translate winning turf form to the Polytrack. ARION SUCCESS was held up at a vital stage last time out and backs up quickly here. Each-way hope.

Race 12 – Time: 11:30 Class 4 Handicap -1400m
Selections: 4/2/1

RED OCEAN a smart four-year-old who has had a break since last seen. Runner-up in a trial and the return to 1400m can work the trick to get back to the winner’s circle. ALL WE KNOW hold-up performer. This Jason Ong-trained galloper is racing in great form of late and can once again go close from the back of the field. STREET CRY SUCCESS a wide gate is not ideal, but has form tied in with All We Know and should give a good account of himself.
