BANGOR-ON-DEE

Race 6 No1 CAPE ROBIN
Trainer: Tim Vaughan – Jockey: Charlie Price

Front running CAPE ROBIN failed to menace when having an off day at Stratford but following a month’s break can get an early handle on this handicap chase. He had previously bossed a better race at Worcester and is fancied to bounce back on a track that can play to his strengths.

Race 7 No1 AT POETS CROSS (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Nico de Boinville

Henderson has been amongst the winners this month and in AT POETS CROSS looks to have the ready-made answer to this bumper. The ability he showed when second to Finest View at Lingfield back in February puts him head and shoulders above his rivals, but he needs to show he’s ready after an eight-month absence.

CATTERICK BRIDGE

RACE 3 No6 ALBEGREY (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Cam Hardie

ALBEGREY has improved from race to race ahead of this nursery debut but it’s significant that there was market support behind her for his recent earning run at Beverley. The Alhebayeb gelding only needs to step up a tad on that effort to take home a cheque.

Race 6 No2 GINATO (Nap)
Trainer: Roger Fell – Jockey: Ben Curtis

GINATO looks to have the bases covered for a deserved success in this sprint. Since scoring in first-time blinkers at Ripon he’s worn the headgear for three near-misses on the bounce. He operates on this tight course, has a good draw and should prove hard to beat.

NOTTINGHAM

RACE 2 No3 CAVE DIVER ( Nap)
Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Hector Crouch

My best news in the first division of the fillies’ nursery concerns CAVE DIVER. The daughter of Ulysses shaped with promise when troubling the judge on her Haydock introduction and will not mind any softening of the ground. She’s learned plenty from that first foray to the track.

Race 4 No9 BONITA B ( Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

Ultra consistent BONITA B has a new jockey in Doyle who is riding out of her skin. There appears to be nothing ungenuine about the selection who deserves a change of luck.

KEMPTON PARK

RACE 4 No10 KOEMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: John Egan

KOEMAN came out of the wilderness to hack up in a veterans’ handicap at Hamilton, and while not back to the level that earned him a Shergar Cup win a few years back, he’s taken that race in his stride and is strongly fancied to follow-up returned to Polytrack.

Race 5 No9 MISS PALOMA
Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott – Jockey: Luke Morris

MISS PALOMA has the profile of a Prescott ‘special’ as she makes her handicap debut off three underwhelming runs. The daughter of German Derby winner Sea The Moon is out of a Hernando mare and bred to enjoy the big step up the distance ladder she takes today. Furthermore, she is the least exposed candidate.

Race 8 No8 LINDWALL
Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott – Jockey: Luke Morris

Ince coming back from a mid-year break LINDWALL has made hay on the all-weather and will be at short odds to complete a hat-trick after cosy successes at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. He landed some good bets at Dunstall Park and can defy a 6lb penalty.

Place Accumulater Perm (Races 2-8)

1 x 5, 2 x 10, 6 x 9, 1, 11 x 11, 9, 1 x 8, 6, 13 x 8
