AYR

Race 2 No9 SAUCE OF LIFE (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Brian Hughes

Unbeaten in two bumpers, SAUCE OF LIFE can remain unbeaten as he switches to hurdles. Highly regarded by his trainer, the Califet gelding has done everything right in preparation for this first run since April.

Race 7 No1 STEINKRAUS
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes

STEINKRAUS represents a stable that is knocking in the winners and makes abundant appeal switching to a novices’ Handicap hurdle after being thwarted in a photo in a handicap at Carlisle. He’s progressed in his three outings through the autumn and looks ready to deliver.

LEICESTER

Race 1 No6 PETAL POWER (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

PETAL POWER appears to be getting her car together, having troubled the judge in her last three starts in nurseries. Beaten just a length and a quarter in a bunch finish at Kempton last week, the Profitable filly won’t mind this return to turf.

Race 6 No7 FOUR ADAAY (Nap)
Trainer: Rod Millman – Jockey: Tyler Heard

FOUR ADAAY is getting closer to a conversion and takes the eye getting weight from each of her foes in this sprint. She attracted market support when chasing home Blue De Vega here last time, and can show that the losses were merely lent.

REDCAR

Race 1 No5 EMPEROR CARADOC (Nap)
Trainer: Bryan Smart – Jockey: Graham Lee

Siyouni colt EMPEROR CARADOC went off a 28-1 no hoper but caught the eye staying on into fourth in Blenheim Boy’s race at York. He had clearly learned quite a bit from his first outing and is now ready to make a further step up in this novice stakes.

Race 3 No7 GIVE IT SOME TEDDY (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

Apart from one underwhelming effort on his latest start, GIVE IT SOME TEDDY has done little wrong and can bounce back. He was unlucky to be beaten in a falsely-run race here in early August and then had too much to do at both Sandown and Beverley. A credit to his connections, he can put in a big earning run.

NEWCASTLE

Race 3 No4 MILLION THANKS (Nap)
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Kevin Stott

MILLION THANKS found one to beat him on debut at Ayr but this Churchill colt will be more streetwise for this clash with Savvy Victory and well regarded newcomer Antarah. He’s trained well on an all-weather surface at home.

Race 8 MILLIONAIRE WALTZ
Trainer: Ben Haslam – Jockey: Andrew Mullen

MILLIONAIRE WALTZ came out of the wilderness to score in runaway style over course and distance last week. His new trainer did well to get him onto a competitive mark, and though higher in the ratings now, he probably has a bit in hand.
