PLUMPTON

Race 1 No3 GALATA BRIDGE (Nap)
Trainer: Dr Richard Newland – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

GALATA BRIDGE ran into one on his debut over jumps at Worcester, getting run out of it by London Eye when backed into odds-on. He will be more streetwise for that, and should go one better.

Race 2 No5 ZUBA
Trainer: Nick Gifford – Jockey: James Davies

As long as he gets a decent pace that enables him to settle, ZUBA can post a second course and distance triumph. The five-year-old has troubled the judge on all but one of his nine starts over hurdles and is ready to go following a warm up on the Flat.

Race 5 No8 SIXTIES SECRET (Each Way)
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marc Goldstein

SIXTIES SECRET has less weight to carry than when taking out this race on her seasonal reappearance in 2020. Although failing to build on that, the mare finds herself on a workable mark and is proven at producing her best fresh from a break.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 2 No2 URBAN VIOLET (Nap)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

Any rain will greatly assist URBAN VIOLET for home Murphy looks a significant booking. Punished by the assessor for her wide margin comeback win on easy conditions at Sandown, she has only now been afforded some respite, and can take this ahead of a bountiful autumn campaign.

Race 7 No7 HELLENISTA
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

HELLENISTA makes abundant appeal getting weight from her foes in the nightcap. The Nathaniel filly raised her game when getting off the mark at Ripon, and looks very much at home now going down the handicap route.
