WINDSOR

Race
1 No2 DANZART (Each Way)
Trainer:
Mick Channon – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni
DANZART
has shown promise at home ahead of this debut in a contest where nothing stands
out. The five furlongs might be slightly on the short side for the son of Dandy
Man, but he will be doing his best work at the business end and can take home a
cheque.
Race
4 No7 MARHAL DAN
Trainer:
Heather Main – Jockey: Rossa Ryan
MARSHAL
DAN
ran well here when third to City Wanderer last summer and has started the
new campaign positively, with a second placing behind runaway scorer
Hieronymous at Kempton followed by a gritty success on turf at Chepstow. He has
conditions in his favour for another big earning run.
Race
6 No11 KIMBERLEY (Each Way)
Trainer:
James Fanshawe- Jockey: Richard Kingscote
First
Winter will head the market for Godolphin and has an obvious chance, but he’s
squandered a couple of good opportunities and KIMBERLEY is preferred. The Oasis
Dream filly started at 50-1 and 25-1 for her first two starts on the all
weather but improved to trouble the judge last time. Taking stock that this
will give her a handicap mark it could be pertinent to keep investments to a
lower level, while not allowing her to go unbacked.
Race
7 No1 DREAM LOCATION (Nap)

Invincible
Spirit filly DREAM LOCATION looks the one to side with in an interesting
all-aged novice stakes. The selection ran into one when third to Collide on
debut at Redcar but the seven furlongs trip didn’t play to her strengths, while
she also ran green. Stepped up to a more suitable mile and a quarter here, she
can show her true colours.

KEMPTON

Race
5 No4 VASARI (Nap)
Trainer:
Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Jim Crowley
VASARI
had worked well ahead of his Newmarket comeback but failed to menace in that
contest when out of the money behind Ivatheengine. Stoute drops him a notch on
the ladder into a Class 4 today, and if that run was in any way needed he can
demonstrate it with a first career win in this three-year-old only handicap.
Race
9 No5 THE GAME OF LIFE
Trainer:
Michael Herrington – Jockey: Josephine Gordon
THE
GAME OF LIFE landed a touch when responding positively to first-time cheek
pieces at Chelmsford on his first run of the season. Connections tried to
strike before he was reassessed under a 5lb penalty over this course, but he
failed to cope with In The Red. Given three weeks to regroup, the Oasis Dream
gelding has a solid chance of bouncing back now moved up to a mile.

AYR

Race
7 NO4 LE REVEUR (Nap)
Trainer:
Sir Mark Prescott – Jockey: Luke Morris

To
all intents and purposes LE REVEUR was a Prescott ‘special’ when leaving
previous form behind on a switch to turf at Chepstow. Also equipped with a
first time visor, the Dream Ahead gelding was in total command in the closing
stages of that wide margin first career victory. Reappearing under a 6lb
penalty, he will be very hard to beat.
