NOTTINGHAM

Race 4 No6 NOBLE PATRON
Trainer: Simon Crisford – Jockey: David Egan

NOBLE PATRON can successfully play the experience card in this novice stakes. The Shamardal gelding underperformed on all-weather debut at Chelmsford but can put the record straight now returned to turf.

Race 5 No5 ARCADIAN NIGHTS
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Charles Bishop

ARCADIAN NIGHTS chases a hat-trick on seasonal reappearance and the son of Exceed And Excel can maintain his progression. His wins came in all-weather handicap at Kempton and Wolverhampton but he’s worked well on grass at home and is ready.

Race 7 No5 STEEL AN ICON
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

Dawes has forged a fine relationship with STEEL AN ICON, scoring on the filly at Leicester and Windsor. The combination are out again quickly under a penalty and can extend what has proved a fine winning sequence.

NEWMARKET

Race 4 No10 PEARL BAY
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: George Rooke

Cable Bay filly PEARL BAY could be worth chancing to get into the money at a big price in this fillies’ novice stakes. She’s shown promise in her preparatory work and can run well in the colours of her trainer.

Race 6 No2 HUNDRED ISLES
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

HUNDRED ISLES comes here in favour of a race at Carlisle and looks to have most of the boxes ticked. He put behind him a disappointing effort at that borders track by chasing home Copper And Five at Doncaster, and can now add to his two early-season successes at Chelmsford and Nottingham.

Race 7 No5 MICHAELS CHOICE
Trainer: William Jarvis – Jockey: Tom Marquand

MICHAELS CHOICE has progressed in his two outings this season, taking home a cheque on each occasion. He is nicely weighted and should prove a bet worth waiting for in the nightcap.

LEICESTER

Race 1 No5 PRIVATE SIGNAL
Trainer: Charlie Appleby – Jockey: William Buick

This should be straightforward for Sea The Stars colt PRIVATE SIGNAL following his promising first offering at Doncaster. He made Austrian Theory fight for the spoils on that occasion and will be more streetwise, making him the preferred choice over Aswan.

Race 7 No1 CANOODLED
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

CANOODLED could hardly have been more impressive when landing some good bets at Lingfield on Sunday. Reunited with the same capable apprentice, the Mehmas filly can defy a 5lb penalty at the main expense of another recent winner, Romulan Prince.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 4 No8 JEBEL DUKHAN (Nap)
Trainer: Sir Mark Prescott – Jockey: Ryan Tate

The cash that went west on JEBEL DUKHAN at Doncaster last week can be recouped as the colt returns to maiden company. He carried his head awkwardly on that handicap debut, resulting in his trainer now equipping him with a first time visor.
