After narrow defeats on both outings the door can now open for MISTRIX. The Vadamos filly receives a handy weight allowance in this novice stakes and can cash in on the way to better things.
Race 6 No2 DUTY OF CARE
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Kevin Stott
DUTY OF CARE upped his game when encountering grass for the first time at Pontefract and can follow up in a race where the three-year-olds look to hold sway. The Kingman colt is the type of progressive individual his trainer excels with.
FONTWELL PARK
RACE 1 No2 ONEONECHOP (Nap)
Trainer: David Pipe – Jockey: Tom Scudamore
It’s taken ONEONECHOP a few races to get the hang of things since joining his trainer from France, but after running a blinder in defeat in his first run in a handicap, he can go one better switched back to a juvenile hurdle.
Race 3 No1 PAWPAW
Trainer: Paul Webber – Jockey: Ciaran Gethings
Fresh from a break, the consistent PAWPAW has strong claims of defying top weight in this tightly-knit handicap hurdle. The selection was in good order when winning and finishing a close second in his two outings in the spring, and has worked well in preparation for this return to the track.

Race 3 No4 BRIGHT EYED EAGLE (Nap)

BRIGHT EYED EAGLE has earned on all four starts since joining his trainer, and while proving costly to follow looks to have been found a good opportunity to open his account over jumps. He’s the only bet on a tricky card.
