KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No10 TWILIGHT REVENGE (Each Way)
Trainer: Mark Usher – Jockey: Hayley Turner

TWILIGHT REVENGE opened his account in the gamest fashion over this course and distance last week and appears to have turned a corner since Turner jumped on his back. The sprint-bred gelding gets this 1400 metres distance well, and is perfectly drawn three off the rail for another pay day.

Race 4 No5 ALVEDISTON (Each Way)
Trainer: Jane Chapple-Hyam – Jockey: Collen Story

On the day her star mile Saphhire Beach goes under the hammer at the mares’ Sale in Newmarket, Chapple-Hyam has sound prospects of taking out this second division of the 7f handicap with ALVEDISTON. The New Bay gelding has raced exclusively on turf since joining his trainer, but switched to the all-weather on a first outing in almost four months can now open his account.

Race 6 No9 SAVVY BRILLIANCE (Each Way)
Trainer: Sean Woods – Jockey: Daniel Muscutt

SAVVY BRILLIANCE troubled the judge on debut at Wolverhampton when looking as if the race would do him good. The Cracksman colt is going to be more street-smart with the benefit of that run under his belt, and is well drawn to obtain a good position close to the pace in this race around a right-handed bend.

CATTERICK BRIDGE

Race 3 No4 ROYAL MOGUL(Nap)
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes

The ultra-consistent ROYAL MOGUL transferred his good bumper form to jumping when second at Wetherby, form which makes him the go-to horse on this maiden hurdle. If he replicates that performance it should be enough for him to open his account under Rules.

Race 6 No3 SALVINO
Trainer: Sandy Thomson – Jockey: Bruce Lynn

After several earning runs, SALVINO deserved his novice hurdle success at Kelso and now tries his hand in a handicap. He has the percentage call over multiple scorer Johnson’s Blue, who needs to bounce back from a defeat at Aintree, but had scored on five of his six previous starts over hurdles.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No5 RICHARD R H B (Each Way)
Trainer: Mike Appleby – Jockey: Luke Morris

RICHARD R H B has knocked on the door on both starts since joining the Appleby academy. Brought back down in trip, he was only narrowly denied over this course and distance last time, and from a good draw has a good chance of making it third time lucky.

Race 3 No1 KENTUCKY KINGDOM
Trainer: H Evans – Jockey: Mollie Phillips

KENTUCKY KINGDOM was returning from a short break when scoring here on his latest outing back in February. The Camacho gelding now comes back off a nine-month absence, but if in the same mood needs to be taken seriously, while the weights rise he’s incurred is alleviated by his capable apprentice rider.

Race 4 No13 SUGAR CANDIE
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Jason Hart

Highland Reel filly SUGAR CANDIE is another returned from an absence, having put in a first earning effort when narrowly denied by Executive Pool at Brighton back in June. Her astute handler must fancy his chances of her taking away a cheque off bottom weight in a race where staying power will play a major part in the outcome.

Race 8 No8 COLOMBIDEA (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Fellowes – Jockey: Kevin Stott

Those with the best form in this maiden are poorly drawn, but COLOMBIDEA should have the track craft necessary for her to get out of trouble. The hooded daughter of Churchill finished well at Chelmsford last time, while Stott is an eye-taking booking for her.

Place Accumulator Perm (Races 3-9)
