HEREFORD

Race 5 No1 LOVE TREE (Nap)
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Mr Alex Chadwick

LOVE TREE beat a good yardstick in Largy Force when last seen at Chepstow back in March, where she also benefitted from the addition of a hood. Her trainer is doing well with his jumps team, and will have her fit for this return to the fray.

PLUMPTON

Race 4 No3 SCAMALLACH LIATH (Nap)
Trainer: Harry Derham – Jockey: Paul O’Brien

SCAMALLACH LIATH landed some good bets on his first run for Derhamat Ascot a year ago, showing that he is effective when returning from a break. He narrowly failed to follow-up at the same course and wasn’t seen after a less positive display at Sandown in February. Switched to fences he has schooled well, and is one of the more interesting betting propositions of the day.

Race 6 No6 CALSHOT SPIT
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marc Goldstein

CALSHOT SPIT was below his best when running on the Flat last month, but prior to that Bath flop he had won at the same track and also scored in gritty fashion at Fontwell. He should be well suited to this tight track, and can bounce back.

Race 7 No8 MACARI
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marc Goldstein

In contrast to his stable companion, MACARI excelled on his latest run on the level, landing a Newbury amateurs’ handicap by six lengths. He won here in the early spring and has his tail up switched back to hurdling.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No4 DISSIDENT
Trainer: Ralph Beckett – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

DISSIDENT was beaten a shade over five lengths when last of four on his only start at Newbury, but it’s a race that’s produced some good horses over the years. Furthermore he was popular in the market, suggesting he’d shown something at home. The Frankel gelding is sure to have benefitted from the outing, and has a good draw for this race run round a right handed bend.

Race 5 No5 MILITARY ACADEMY (Nap)
Trainer: John Gosden – Jockey: Kieran Shoemark

MILITARY ACADEMY lost his unbeaten record at the hands of Burdett Road at Newmarket, but his victor then ran well in a Group 1 at Ascot to show there was no disgrace in the defeat. The Fastnet Rock colt should find this step into Listed company well within his compass.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 6 No5 SPERIAMO (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie McBride – Jockey: Alec Voikhansky

SPERIAMO served up a game effort to take out a Class4 at this course last month to extend a fine autumn record that reads 1221. At the same level and trip she is fancied to go in again from her raised mark, at the main expense of Kitty Furnival.

SOUTHWELL

Race 4 No1 FANCY DANCER
Trainer: Ollie Sangster – Jockey: Nicola Currie

Dandy Man filly FANCY DANCER has trained well ahead of this restricted fillies’ maiden and from a good draw away from her main market rivals can endorse that promise with an earning first run.

Race 7 No6 FORMBY (Nap)
Trainer: Julie Camacho – Jockey: Ryan Sexton

FORMBY reacted well to a first time hood to chase home previous winner Minnie Wildes at Newcastle, a run that earned him a handicap mark. The chestnut is relatively unexposed, but should know enough to make an impact.

Place Accumulator Perm (Races 2-8)
