RIPON

Race 4 No2 FISHABLE (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

Course specialist FISHABLE has to be of serious interest now he’s had two outings to make him fully primed. The five-year-old has recorded each of his three career wins over this course and distance, and showed with an earning run here last time that he’s on the cusp of a return to form.

Race 5 No5 SANDBECK
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Kevin Stott

Ardad filly SANDBECK looked useful when scoring on debut for her trainer at Nottingham last month. She knuckled down well to take the spoils, and in so doing endorsed the promise of two runs for her previous trainer last autumn. She has good form for this class jump, and should prove hard to beat.

STRATFORD

Race 3 No14 SUNLINE (Each Way)
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marc Goldstein

One of many casts offs West obtains from the Channon stable, SUNLINE could prove a surprise packet in this lowly selling hurdle. The Cityscape filly finished a long way last on jumps debut at Plumpton but is capable of a better showing.

Race 5 No4 LILY GLITTERS (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: Tom O’Brien

Shirocco mare LILY GLITTERS has thrived since being equipped with a visor, and was gaining a second triumph in the apparatus when landing some good bets at Ludlow last time. The six-year-old can now put her best foot forward on a first visit to this track.

Race 6 No5 HELFORD RIVER
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

As a son of Presenting, HELFORD RIVER handles quicker ground even though his latest success at Fontwell was gained in the soft. Although beaten a distance on his first run after a wind op last month, he can raise his game to take advantage of a feather mark which sees his foes conceding lumps of weight to him.
