Race 6 No3 AWEEMAWEH (Nap)

Winning form on this switchback course can be worth its weight in gold, and AWEEMAWEH can post a second success of the year in a race that lacks depth. He made the switch from the all-weather to the turf with that comfortable success in April, and though well, beaten in two subsequent outings is fancied to bounce back.

LEICESTER

Race 5 No4 MENAI BRIDGE (Nap)

MENAI BRIDGE has done nothing wrong in two outings this year that have yielded a win on Polytrack and a second on turf. He’s got the points on the board and should enjoy the ground, track and trip for a yard that’s doing well with its three-year-old handicappers.

Race 6 No3 COQUETTE (Nap)

On first start for her trainer, COQUETTE should prove hard to beat in a maiden that is lacking depth. The Champs Elysees filly showed abundant promise in both outings at three, and shouldn’t be troubled by a protracted absence of almost a year, as she’s remained in capable hands.

LINGFIELD PARK

Having shown a first real sign that she has ability when second at Nottingham last time, GONE MOD can go one better with a step up in trip sure to assist the daughter of Sixties Icon. She saw her race out all the way to the line that day and has been in good order on the gallops in subsequent workouts.

Very few of this trainer’s juveniles win first time out, but KINRARRA could prove to be an exception. The daughter of Australia has been kept back for these seven furlongs maidens and could prove a value each-way option after showing ability in her preparation.

YARMOUTH

Race 4 No6 SEAGULLS NEST

SEAGULLS NEST doesn’t do anything in a hurry but will be staying on at the business end of this stayers’ handicap. She was a shade disappointing on handicap debut at Nottingham but might have been feeling the effects of a hard race at Lingfield on her previous start.

CLOUDY DAWN can preserve her unbeaten record and prove the best bet on this card. The daughter of Kodiac swerved a good opportunity the other day owing to soft ground but will now encounter ideal conditions on which to endorse the promise of her triumphs at Haydock and Lingfield.
