Huntingdon Best Bets
Race 3: AGENT MEMPHIS (6)
Trainer: Kim Bailey
Jockey: Mike Hamill
Confirmed front runner hasn’t enjoyed the rub of the green. A first fence casualty at Market Rasen but has schooled enthusiastically since and in a poor race should prove hard to catch.
Race 7: LANTIERN (2)
Trainer: Harry Whittington
Jockey: Mr Jamie Neild
Has been in fantastic form since Lingfield win and Jamie Neill rides LANTIERN every day at home. Well regarded and open to stacks of improvement, and of weather stays dry confidence will further increase.
Wetherby Best Bets
Race 2: LOUIS’VAC POUCH (1)
Trainer: Henry Oliver
Jockey: J McGrath
Although he could be taken on for the lead, LOUIS’VAC POUCH is a superb jumper and can soon assume control. The selection takes a big step up the distance ladder but showed no signs of stopping at Catterick last time.
Race 6: SHESHOON SONNY (4)
Trainer: Alan King
Jockey: Wayne Hutchinson
Although unable to hold a candle to the useful Get In The Queue at Exeter, SHESHOON SONNY shaped as if he was a winner waiting to happen, and with his stable in good form, he can go one better, albeit at short odds.
Taunton Best Bets
Race 3: DROPS OF JUPITOR (2)
Trainer: Anthony Honeyball
Jockey: Rex Dingle
With a top conditional on his back the mercurial DROPS OF JUPITOR can show that he still has something to offer. The grey has been in the wilderness for a long time but his trainer appears to have found a very good opportunity for him.
Race 4 No1 OXWICH BAY
Trainer: Evan Williams
Jockey: TBA
Built to carry weight and with the assistance of first-time cheekpieces, OXWICH BAY can take this after being out of luck on his last couple of starts. He was given a confident ride at Ludlow last time and was getting into the argument when a mistake two from home stopped him in his tracks. If his jumping holds up he will be hard to beat.
