Winning Form Comments:
GOT THE GREENLIGHT got back to winning ways in the Grade 1 SA Classic under a superb ride last time. He raced from a handy position, overraced in the early stages and fought hard all the way to the line. His wide barrier position should not pose much of an issue as he can use the whole of the back straight to get across. Callan Murray is no stranger to winning big races and he should give the son of Gimmethegreenlight all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
YOUCANTHURRYLOVE was his own worst enemy last time as he shifted away from the crop. The manner in which he ran on that day was encouraging and he should enjoy the rise to the 2450m. S’manga Khumalo knows him well and the pair should be right there in the run down to the finishing post.
SHANGO was making steady progress when finishing 3.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. He should have no stamina doubts coming into this race and from pole position, must have a say in this field. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena has kept faith in the son of Captain Of All.

Winning Form Comments:
SUMMER PUDDING will be looking to win the last leg of the SA Triple Tiara. She won both the Fillies Guineas and the Fillies Classic in fine fashion. The manner in which she won those two starts suggests that she will have no issues with the rise to the 2450m. Due to the regulations of Lockdown, jockey Gavin Lerena will do duty aboard the daughter of Silvano. She is classy and looks very hard to beat.
VICTORIA PAIGE finished third, 0.75 lengths behind the top choice in the Fillies Guineas. She didn’t have much luck that day and made eye-catching late progress up the straight. Luke Ferraris knows her well and she has the best chance of completing the exacta.
MARYGOLD ran a very good race when finishing a length behind the top selection in the Fillies Classic. She lost a length at the start and ran on well at the business end. The daughter of Flower Alley should have no issues with the extra distance and merits obvious inclusion.

Trainer Mike de Kock holds a strong hand in this race and he has a good chance of saddling the first three past the post. HAWWAAM is much better than his last two starts in Cape Town. He is a much better horse when racing around a right-hand turn. He has an incredible record on this course having won five times and finishing second once from as many starts. He gets the services of the capable Callan Murray in the absence of Anton Marcus.
SOQRAT never got into the race in the Queen’s Plate last time. He is definitely better than that effort and will enjoy racing on the Highveld again. He ran an absolute cracker in the Summer Cup in his penultimate start over ten furlongs. Randall Simons has had success aboard him in the past and the pair should pose the biggest threat to the top choice.
QUEEN SUPREME is a filly taking on the males. She was reported to have a small cut on her right hind leg after the Majorca Stakes. The daughter of Exceed And Excel produced top form prior to that and merits healthy respect.
