Smart comeback run after long absence, decent course record, include.
This usually ultra-consistent four-year old gelding benefited from the break as he put a disastrous Summer Cup behind him, when he produced an excellent seasonal debut behind Solid Speed (2kgs better off) in a feature on this track, six weeks ago. His track record is solid and the Silvano gelding has no stamina issues. He will certainly strip a fitter horse today but he does still need to prove his worth at this level. That said, he gets a world class jockey in the saddle and the Ramsden inmate could benefit from a slow pace.
