CASH TIME has finished second in his last three starts. He challenged strongly in his last start, but found one too good in the form of Captain Chorus. He should have no issues with the extra furlong on offer and can get back to winning ways.

Jockey: Murray C – Trainer: De Kock M
LYRICAL DANCE followed up her maiden win with a good third-place finish over this distance at the Vaal. She stayed on nicely at the finish that day, but was reported to be fatigued post race. The daughter of Vercingetorix makes her Handicap debut this afternoon and from her good draw of four, she may be the one to side with.
Race 7: CELESTIAL LOVE (6)
Jockey: Hewitson L – Trainer: Janse van Vuur
CELESTIAL LOVE won a very good race in her last start over 1100m on the Standside course. She raced from just off the pace that day and drew clear well. She makes her Handicap debut this afternoon, but carries a handy galloping mass and may be up to the task at hand. She is carded to race on 13 March 2021 and her progress in that race will need to be checked.

OYSTER KING is much better than his last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this C&D. It is encouraging that in-form S’manga Khumalo retains the ride and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
