MASAAKEN has some decent recent form lines to her credit. The manner in which she finished off her last start suggests she will enjoy the rise in distance today. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If jumping on terms, she may be the one to beat.

ARIZONA LADY’S last three starts have been good. She set the pace last time, but was outrun in the latter stages. The daughter of Visionaire meets the right field this afternoon and from her good draw of two, she should be hard to peg back.

POMELO showed very good improvement in his last start over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course. He set the pace that day, but was outrun in the closing stages. The son of Pomodoro should have no issues with the mile and from his good draw of two, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

LOVE POSY is much better than her last start over 2000m on this course. Her penultimate run when finishing second over 1700m catches the eye. The daughter of Flower Alley should race up with the speed and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.
