PERFECT WITNESS ran a good race when finishing second over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She stayed on nicely at the finish, but found one too good in the form of Mike’s Chick. The daughter of Flower Alley has plenty of scope and with Warren Kennedy in the saddle, she can go one better.

The son of Pomodoro won his penultimate start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He should strip a much fitter horse and if keeping on a straight line, he may be the one to beat.
