Tips Today - Tuesday - Horse Racing - Hollywoodbets

Neil Morrice brings us all of his best bets and tips for Brighton, Kempton, Yarmouth and Newton.

Brighton Best Bets

Race 2: GLEEDS GIRL (9)
Trainer: Mick Channon
Jockey: Tom Marquand

The outstanding form of Laikaparty makes him hard to get away from but the filly GLEEDS GIRL looks a value option to run into the money. She spoiled her chance with a tardy start on her Newbury debut, and though finishing in the ruck did flatter two furlongs out and has learned something from the run. She’s capable of raising her game to trouble the judge.

Race 6: FORCE AMY (3)
Trainer: Mick Channon
Jockey: Scott McCullough

Connections of AIR FORCE AMY have adopted a patient approach with the filly who needed time to grow into her frame. She ran well on several occasions as a juvenile and though beaten at 7-1 ON on her seasonal return at Lingfield showed with her latest second to Sincerity at Ffos Las that she’s ready to break her duck.

Kempton Best Bets

Race 3: LOVING GLANCE (8)
Trainer: Martyn Meade
Jockey: Rob Hornby

With two seconds at Newmarket on her CV, LOVING GLANCE is in a good spot to open her account and also enjoys the luxury of the rail. She finished off her race strongly when chasing home Subaana over this trip last time, hails from an in-form stable and if living up to her ability, should win.

Race 4: MAYNE (5)
Trainer: Andrew Balding
Jockey: Oisin Murphy

There are a couple with obvious claims including the 425,000 guinea purchase Ghadbbaan but the one that could improve is MAYNE. Easy to back on his Chelmsford debut, he showed good natural pace to be competitive throughout, and though losing his position was ultimate beaten just two and a quarter lengths. He looks sure to progress from that and will get the best assistance from the saddle.

Yarmouth Best Bets

Race 6: MONARCH MAID (7)
Trainer: Peter Hiatt
Jockey: Elisha Whittington

On revised terms from their clash over course and distance last week, MONARCH MAID can outpoint Simba Samba. Even with the latter’s jockey claim taken into account, there must be every chance that Monarch Maid can take her revenge with an ideal draw two off the rail from which to seize command.

Race 2: AMBER ISLAND (1)
Trainer: Charlie Appleby
Jockey: William Buick

The step up to a mile should be just the ticket for AMBER ISLAND who ran green before doing all her best work at the finish on her Newmarket introduction. She can confirm her superiority over fourth-placed Festive Star on the way to better things.

Newton Best Bets

Race 3: EMPREINTE RECONCE (6)
Trainer: Colin Tizzard
Jockey: Aidan Coleman

There was much to like about the way EMPREINTE RECONCE put his race to bed here last week, travelling sweetly throughout before dashing clear on the short run in. The gelding has incurred a 7lb penalty but looked good value for his win. He’s reported to have taken the exertions in his stride, and can go in again at the main expense of Legal History.

Race 5: MOREECE (6)
Trainer: John Flint
Jockey: Jack Tudor

MOREECE hasn’t won for a while and is no star, but on three of his four starts this season he’s given a good account to earn money, and this could be his day. He can be counted unlucky not to have won at Worcester last time when he was badly hampered before closing down the winner Master Sunrise all the way to the line.
