Tips Today - Tuesday - Horse Racing - Hollywoodbets

Neil Morrice brings us all of his best bets and tips for Epsom, Musselburgh and Bath.

Epsom Best Bets

Race 5: MAKSAB (3)
Trainer: Mick Channon
Jockey: Scott McCullough

Having been dropped since his solid run at Newmarket and having the assistance of the only jockey to win on him this year, who is good value for his 5lb claim, MAKSAB can land this competitive heat. He needs to be gate smart to get out from his wide berth, as he needs to lead or be handy. But if breaking well he has the balance to handle this track and prove hard to catch.

Race 7: THREEFEETFROMGOLD (3)
Trainer: Martin Smith
Jockey: E J Walsh

The hooded THREEFEETFROMGOLD handled the undulations of Lingfield to finish third to Bay Watch on what was only his fourth career start. He’s troubled the judge in all three of his races this year, and with room for improvement can run well at a price in this tough finale.

Musselburgh Best Bets

Race 3: CHARLIE BROWN (1)
Trainer: Tim Easterby
Jockey: D Redmond

Now that he’s opened his account, OUR CHARLIE BROWN can continue to make good use of his mark, and under a 5lb penalty follow-up his smooth win at Catterick last week. The ground will be completely different, but he’s a versatile individual who has a good draw to get a handy early position. Most of his rivals are out of form.

Race 4: DARK DEVIL (8)
Trainer: Richard Fahey
Jockey: S Davis

DARK DEVIL is proving costly to follow and was a beaten favourite again last time at Nottingham. Having said that, he did everything right, making up his ground stylishly but hitting a wall inside the final furlong. A well-handicapped horse, he can get everything right with this drop back on the distance ladder.

Bath Best Bets

Race 3: CONSPIRATOR (2)
Trainer: Charles Hills
Jockey: Kieren Shoemark

With a course win and a second to his name on his last two starts, CONSPIRATOR has a very solid look, especially as he’s stepping down a rung on the Class ladder. He faces stern opposition from Lucky Number, who is also a winner here, but might represent better value than that one.

Race 5: SUSSEX GIRL (6)
Trainer: John Berry
Jockey: Franny Norton

SUSSEX GIRL looked like a mare coming to the boil when finishing third at Brighton three weeks ago. It was an encouraging run considering she badly missed the break and had a lot to do when meeting the rising ground. She’s well treated on her best form, she has an in-form jockey on her back and looks sure to get involved.
