YARMOUTH

Race 2 – SWISS CABARET 11/2

The Gosden-trained SWISS CABARET is a daughter of Showcasing and selected to make a winning debut in the Get Raceday Ready Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.

Sulala ticks all the boxes on paper. Racing for trainer Roger Varian and by Siyouni can make the shortlist.

Ryan Moore rides Inherit who could easily leave behind her debut seventh-placed finish over seven furlongs at Sandown last season representing top connections.

American Fashion would be one to note if strong in the betting.

Race 3 – FIVE WINDS 15/10

The Jack Jones-trained FIVE WINDS produced a solid effort tackling this trip when third at Leicester last time. Consider racing off a 1lb lower mark.

Trainer Ian Williams enters Mokaatil who drops 2lb for finishing third at Bath. Could be thereabouts.

Lilkian is admittedly better on the all weather and needs to be included on the back of his close second in this grade over six furlongs at Lingfield.

Race 5 – LEUVEN POWER 28/10

LEUVEN POWER could be the one to concentrate on in the Join Moulton Racing Syndicate Handicap.

The fact that he remained with Roger Varian and in the King Power silks despite being off for over 600 days suggests connections think there are still races to be won with the five-year-old.

Not surprisingly, having been off for so long he was keen on his comeback at Redcar, but he stuck on gamely for fifth and should benefit from that outing.

Race 6 – DASHING DONKEY 4/1

DASHING DONKEY is taken to bounce back from a below-par effort at Brighton. Produced a good second on handicap debut at Yarmouth in April and now drops to a classified event with Hollie Doyle in the saddle.

Split Elevens finished fourth attempting a 1m classified race at Brighton last start. Must rate highly based on ratings alone.

Others to consider include the eleven-start maiden Keen Interest who ran third over 1m at Bath last time and Darker.

HAMILTON

Race 2 – DRAMATIC STAR 5/10

DRAMATIC STAR can make the long journey from Newmarket worthwhile with victory in the Hamilton Park Maiden Stakes.

Trained by William Haggas, he has shown enough in his first two outings to suggest winning a race of this nature should prove a formality.

Dramatic Star’s dam was a Group Three winner over a mile and three-quarters, so now he steps up in trip to nearly a mile and a half, this Sea The Stars colt should really come into his own.

Race 3 – DUBAI HILLS 9/2

DUBAI HILLS is a justified favourite after scoring at Pontefract. He made gradual improvement with each attempt since a break and is expected to go well again. The three-year-old is the leading chance off the current mark.

Bengurion remains unbeaten after two starts. Steps into handicap company for the first time after a Kempton win.

Mr Irrelevant has recorded three victories in the past four outings including a course and distance success. Enjoys these conditions.

Pals Battalion holds each way chances following a fourth tackling track and trip.

Race 5 – ACES WILD 4/1

ACES WILD has been in excellent order with two wins and two placings in his last five outings. Only beaten when they were 0.5L runner-up at Chelmsford.

You should consider Ski Angel as she could go back-to-back following a Musselburgh success. The four-year-old struggled tackling a longer trip two starts ago but they should be better at this journey.

Refuge improved with a fourth-place finish at Ripon, and holds each-way claims. Sound Reason could sneak a placing after a credible fourth over course and distance.

Race 6 – TRUE NATION 7/2

TRUE NATION appears well-handicapped as they demonstrated considerable improvement on reappearance after a five-month break taking a Nottingham contest by 1.75L. Stays tackling a similar trip and has a leading chance.

Ledger is bidding for a hat-trick. Was the winner of a course and distance contest when last seen and is a capable performer in these conditions.

Golden Valour started the new campaign with success at Ayr over 1m and is stepping up in distance.

Vitrina holds each-way claims on their fourth career start. Interesting pick with a lot of improvement to come as she is attempting a considerably longer journey.
