Race 5: THUMBS UP (2)

THUMBS UP was ultra-impressive when winning her last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. She has plenty of class about her and should notch up her fourth career victory. She is carded to race on 24 April 2021 and her progress in that race will need to be checked.
Race 6: EMERALD CREST (4)
Jockey: Khumalo S – Trainer: Laird A
EMERALD CREST has very good consistent form lines to her credit. It must be noted that the form of her last outing has been franked. She has won three times and finished second twice from six starts over this distance. She takes on stronger today, but is in a good space and can notch up her fourth career victory.
Race 8: BAYMAX (1)
Jockey: V.Rensburg M – Trainer: Peter P
BAYMAX is much better than his last start in the Grade 1 SA Derby. His penultimate run when finishing second in the Listed Derby Trial was encouraging. He takes a big drop in class today and from pole position, may be the one to side with.

DANCING ARABIAN is much better than her last start over a mile. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She finished second in her only attempt over this distance. Gavin Lerena takes the ride and from pole position, he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
