DON CHRISTO is a lightly raced five-year-old who showed his true ability with an impressive last c & d victory at a similar level. He was deservedly handed the maximum eight-pound penalty but the son of Kahal clearly still has more to offer and he could be ahead of the handicapper. That said, he does seem unsuited to soft underfoot conditions.

CASCIANO has renewed the successful partnership he once enjoyed with Yeni and the pair dug deep to win a good contest over this c & d, three weeks ago. The son of Kahal was penalized three pounds for his effort but is certainly capable in this company and he can follow-up. He is his yard’s only entrant on the card.

Jockey: Muzi YENI – Trainer: Lucky HOUDALAKIS
The grey filly MY FRIEND LEE is an improving type with useful form at this level and she gives the impression that she is slightly ahead of the handicapper, even after a recent one pound raise in her merit rating. The daughter of Pathfork probably found the 1700m too far for her when narrowly defeated by subsequent winner Parisienne Chic that day but will love this seven furlongs and she could take a power of beating from her favourable barrier position. Her only career win came over this track & trip.

REBUKED is lightly raced and has shown plenty of promise despite obvious issues. He failed to build on his high-class comeback run when weakening at Turffontein a month ago but will be cherry-ripe now and has claims. DREAMUPONADREAM has kept his form well and he is weighted to finish a little closer to the top rating on the Kapitan outing.
