WORK ETHIC took on some very strong opposition on her debut for her new conditioner and today’s drop in class will suit her perfectly. Admittedly, she prefers further to be at her best but meets ordinary opposition and can show her class.

FREELY FOREVER was given a great ride when she beat a few of today’s rivals in a close finish over this trip last week. She may have escaped with the minimum two-pound penalty and though the daughter of Fort Wood may prefer an extra furlong, she clearly has more to offer and can follow-up with Strydom retaining the ride. She shed her maiden tag in her only c & d showing.

Jockey: Andrew FORTUNE – Trainer: Lucky HOUDALAKIS
The gutsy grey filly MY FRIEND LEE is certainly on the up and she was brilliantly handled when she ran on well to win her last c & d effort at this very same level. She picked up a hefty five-pound penalty for her exertions but the daughter of Pathfork is clearly on the up and it must be noted that she has a great record with veteran jockey Andrew Fortune in the saddle. She could still show her class despite the big mass.
