The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and in this type of field, she should be very hard to beat.

PORTICO stayed on nicely at the finish last time but found one too good in the form of Vaseem. The son of What A Winter is the best-weighted runner in this contest and with S’manga Khumalo retaining the ride, he should be the one to beat.

LADY OF THE FLAME has shown good improvement since the fitting of the blinkers. She has finished third in her last three starts. This is not the strongest field and with Muzi Yeni retaining the ride, she can shed her maiden tag.

ALESIAN CHIEF was an impressive winner when shedding his maiden tag over this C&D, two weeks ago. He showed good speed that day and won with a ton in hand. The son of Vercingetorix takes on stronger, but he is lightly raced and should be up to the task at hand.
