TRATTORIA showed good signs of a form return when finishing second over this distance on the Classic course. She returns from a 10-week break which may have done her the world of good. She does not meet the strongest field and if not in need of the run, she can go one better.

IMPERIAL MASTER’S last three starts on the Classic course have been good. He fought hard in his last outing, but found one too good in the form of Oyster King. The son of Master Of My Fate is in a good space and should be rewarded for consistency.

SEA VIRESCENT showed very good improvement in his last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he hung in the latter stages. If keeping on a straight line, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
