She was slow into stride, outpaced in the early stages but the manner in which she finished off her race was eye- catching. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Flower Alley would have gained from the experience and if not too green around the turn, she should be the horse to beat.

LEMME GO has produced two decent efforts to date. He raced from just off the pace last time and stayed on to finish second. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will enjoy the rise to 1450m and from pole position, he may be the one to side with.

AL MUTHANA took on stronger in the Grade 1 WSB Gauteng Summer Cup last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is unbeaten from two starts on this course. From his good draw of two, he can return to winning ways.

CAPTAIN OUPIE ran a good race in his stable debut over this distance at Turffontein, five weeks ago. He showed good speed and stayed on to finish fourth. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Captain Of All should strip much fitter today and may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
