DE NIMES is plagued with issues but the lightly raced bay mare has shown her potential and still deserves huge respect in her comeback run. The form of her last start has worked out brilliantly and she will benefit from a 4kgs apprentice allowance.
Race 6: SWIFT SARAH(2)
Jockey: S’manga KHUMALO – Trainer: Sean TARRY
The smart SWIFT SARAH quickly reverts to sprinting after she tired badly over further at a similar level recently. The Tarry inmate had useful sprint credentials prior to that, including a good win, albeit via the boardroom over the consistent JUNGLE MIST over this c & d in her penultimate run. She is now 1.5kgs worse off with the latter but can set the record straight.

KING OF MANI continues his good run of form and he was only outrun late over an extra furlong on this course earlier this month. The shorter trip suits him much better though and he has strong claims of going one better in this competitive affair.

This is an extremely tricky Progress Plate over the mile where the official ratings may not be the best guide. The likely pacesetter CASSIE O’MALLEY has a little to do at the weights but she badly needed her comeback run last month and should prove to be a totally different proposition today. Her smart prior form behind some good sorts brings her into the reckoning and her stable’s good run of form is a bonus.
