Race 7
Joao Moreira has finished runner-up in this prestigious race on two occasions and will be looking to go one better. He rides the highly-talented BUCKAROO and he should stay every inch of the distance.
ZARDOZI finished a nose behind LAND LEGEND three runs ago. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the form around. He is the dark horse.
Race 8
EXTREMELY HARDYS is unbeaten from two career starts and looks to be a progressive filly. She comes in with a handy galloping weight and should be one of the leading contenders.
KUROYANAGI managed to beat CHEWING GUM by a neck last time out. She is Group 1 placed and should give another good account of herself. James McDonald won this race last year and he is booked to ride BOSUSTOW.
Race 9
MISS ARIA produced a good last effort in Group 2 company. This four-year old mare is in a good space and represents decent each-way value. AVIATRESS won in style last time and should be involved if seeing out the extra distance on offer. Trainer Mark Walker won this race last year and he sends out top weight QUINTESSA.
Race 10
MERIDIUS showed signs of needing his comeback run after a seven-month layoff and he should come on nicely with that run under the belt.
RHEINBERG has solid form lines to his credit and the booking of James McDonald is a major plus. WARNIE is likely to be favorite after his recent narrow victory on this course and it will be no surprise to see him follow up.
