MERCURY RISING produced an eye-catching debut effort over this distance at Kenilworth. She raced green in running, but the manner in which she finished off her race was promising. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should go one better here.
Race 3: VIDA FUTURA (11)

VIDA FUTURA has produced two decent efforts to date. He raced from a handy position last time, but found one too good in the form of Pomp And Power. The son of Futura has the experience of racing on this course and from his good draw of three, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

SILVER FALCON ran a good race on debut over 1000m at Kenilworth. The son of Silvano showed pace that day, but found one too good in the form of Rod The Mod. He would have come on with the run under his belt and should enjoy the extra distance on offer. If not too green around the turn, he should shed his maiden tag.

TALLAHASSEE took on much stronger in the Listed Sweet Chestnut Stakes last time. She raced wide around the turn and understandably weakened in the straight. The daughter of Soft Falling Rain returns to Handicap company this afternoon. She is suited to this course and with a bit of luck in running, she can return to winning ways.
