Her pedigree suggests that she will relish this extra furlong.

The Cape visitor BID BEFORE SUNSET is best weighted on her return to this province and she has obvious claims. Of course her latest conqueror Evelina went close in a listed feature on this track a week ago. Her fellow Capetonian CHARGE D’ AFFAIRES is a highly rated sophomore with issues and she perhaps needed her comeback run when easily beaten by the first selection in the event referred to above but will be fitter and could stake a serious claim on local debut.

QUAKESHAKE earned a consistency reward as she kept on well to win her last start over a mile on the polytrack. She was raised four pounds for her exertions but is certainly capable of better and is arguably better over this shorter distance.
