The filly FRESH is well-weighted in this competitive five-furlong novice sprint where she drops in class after facing considerably stronger rivals in feature company in recent efforts. She enjoys this minimum distance and ran on well for 4th behind the top class subsequent winner Easy Street over this c & d in her penultimate outing.

The classy veteran Cape raider TEVEZ is still enjoying his racing and his good recent form has earned him a ticket to another campaign. He went close when perhaps just needing his comeback run mid last month and has placed over today’s c & d. The Caesour gelding is the stable’s solitary entrant on the card and he is weighted to take a power of beating but the obvious reservation is whether he travelled well.

KIR ROYALE had an expected improved last performance over this c & d at a higher level seven days ago and he should certainly build on that in this lesser company. The four-year old gelding has reached a competitive merit rating again. He usually jumps slightly slow but recovered well last time and is a major contender here.
