He does have to contend with the widest draw of nine, but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

PERFECTION was a beaten favourite in the Derby Plate last time. He finished 2.5 lengths behind HEATHCLIFF that day. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He tries the 2400m for the first time and if allowed to dictate his own terms in front, he may be hard to peg back.
