GOOM GOOM ran a good race when second over 1200m on this course, five weeks ago. The son of Var has shown improvement with the blinkers fitted. If jumping on terms from his midfield draw, he is capable of going one better.

HEARTSEASE won a very good race in her local debut over 1600m on the turf. The blinkers have done the trick on the daughter of Elusive Fort. She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this distance. JP van der Merwe retains the ride and the pair can follow up.
