STORM COMMANDER has good recent form lines to his name. He raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Painite. The 7yo gelding takes a drop-in class and he should be the one to beat.

Jockey: R Fourie – Trainer: A Greeff
UNITED EXPRESS won a good race in her last start over 1600m on the Polytrack. She took the lead at the 1100m mark that day and won with ease. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. She meets similar company this afternoon and if taking to this track, she can follow up.

KUZNETSOV was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1600m on the Polytrack. He stumbled leaving the start and was reported to have over reached. He has dropped to a competitive rating. The son of Duke Of Marmalade has a wide draw to overcome but he gets the services of Denis Schwarz who knows him well and he should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
