FORTUNE PATROL was beaten a couple of lengths by the top selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.

The Whyte-trained BIG TWO has found one better in recent outings and looks tough to oppose on form. He was only beaten half a length by the talented Packing Famous last time and should take a power of beating from pole. RED IMPACT was beaten just over a length by E Legend last time. He has cracked a neat draw and should give another good account of himself.
13:45 – Race 3 | Class 4 Handicap | 1650m

AMAZING NEWS comes in at the bottom of the weights and has placed in his last two outings. He was narrowly beaten by the aforementioned Packing Famous and merits respect with Moreira in the saddle. HAPPY JAI JAI returns from a short break and is better than his below-par last run. He has cracked an inside draw and can return to winning ways.
14:15 – Race 4 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

STARRY NIGHT has trialled since his last outing when runner-up behind Enchanting Ibis. He is a horse that is still on the upgrade and may be difficult to peg back at the wire. HARDLY SWEARS was beaten just over a length by SMILING CITY in his comeback run. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.
14:45 – Race 5 | Class 4 Handicap | 1000m

VAMOS’S penultimate run catches the eye when he flew up from the rear of the field. He is 2kgs better off at the weights with the South African-bred SUPER COMMANDER on his recent start and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. VIVA MAMA takes on stronger but is in search of a hat-trick and must be respected.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED was only beaten 1.5 lengths by Street Scream over this C&D last time. He shoulders a light weight and Hewitson will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle. SPICY GRILL returns from a three-month break which is a slight concern but he brings attractive form into this contest.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 Handicap | 1800m

GAMEPLAYER TIMES was narrowly beaten in his comeback run over a mile. He shoulders a light weight, will strip fitter and will have plenty of followers. NEARLY FINE backed up his favourite status when defeating Fearless Fire on this course. He looks nicely handicapped and can make it quick back-to-back wins.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 Handicap | 1200m

BE READY has unfortunately been drawn wide again however he almost did enough to win last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights with SEIZING THE MOMENT on that effort and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. STORMTROUPER has been racing well with a light weight and must be considered with Teetan in the irons.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 3 Handicap | 1200m

LUCKY SWEYNESSE shares top weight but is unbeaten and may still be ahead of the handicapper at this stage of his career. GLUCK RACER was only beaten a couple of lengths by the highly-rated Eason after a six-month layoff. He will strip much fitter and should give a good account of himself in the lucky last!
