JUMBO TREASURE is the class-package in the race. He followed up his recent win well and should be one of the leading contenders. NEW POWER is better than his below par last effort. If reproducing his previous form, he should give a good account of himself in this opening contest. Respect.
13.10 – Race 2 | Class 5 – 1650m
Selections: 4/12/11
WINDICATOR FAMILY finished 1.2 lengths behind VERBIER last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. MEDIC ELITE is always competitive in Class 5 and he produced a good comeback effort behind California Moxie. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt.
13.40 – Race 3 | Class 4 – 1650m
Selections: 8/1/3
SOARING BRONCO has consistent recent form to his credit. He is nicely handicapped and should give another good account of himself. THESIS was beaten the narrowest of margins last time. He comes in at the top of the weights and will be looking to make amends. TURIN WARRIOR is next best.
14.10 – Race 4 | Class 4 – 1650m
Selections: 7/9/10
ATOMIC BEAUTY finished alongside DRAGON STAR in a competitive finish last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire. JUMBO FORTUNE has completed the quartet in his last two starts and must be considered for minor money.
14.40 – Race 5 | Class 4 – 1000m
Selections: 6/8/4
LEAN MASTER produced a fair last effort behind an unbeaten sort. He is a tentative first selection in what is a wide-open contest. PLENTIFUL finished 1.5 lengths behind SPICY SPANGLE three runs ago. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much between them at the finish.
15.10 – Race 6 | Class 4– 1200m
Selections: 5/12/7
The Douglas Whyte trained GAMEPLAYER ELITE has entered the frame in his last two starts and is slowly coming back to his best. MY INTELLIGENT finished 1.2 lengths behind LOVING VIBES last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. NEBRASKAN is next in line.
15.45 – Race 7 | Class 3 – 1200m
Selections: 5/6/8
KING MILES ran on nicely into second spot last time despite finding traffic problems. He has cracked a neat draw and should go close to winning this Class 3 contest. VICTORY SKY finished off his race positively last time when beaten a short-head. He should give the top selection a good run for his money.
16.15 – Race 8 | Class 3 – 1650m
Selections: 6/2/9
KING OF FIGHTERS was a beaten favorite last time and a first win looks to be on the horizon. He finished close-up last time and it is encouraging that Zac Purton has kept faith in the ride. STURDY RUBY finished 2.2 lengths behind A AMERIC TE SPECSO last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line.
16.50 – Race 9 | Class 3 – 1200m
Selections: 12/5/3
SOVEREIGN FUND was beaten narrowly in his first attempt in Class 3. He comes in at the bottom of the weights and definitely represents good each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. SUPERB BOY showed signs of returning to best form last time and cannot be ignored. POWER KOEPP has solid recent form to his credit. He runs well for Alex Badel and the combination merit respect.
